Mesothelioma is a very aggressive form of cancer found in the mesothelium, a protective sac that covers most of the body’s internal organs including the lungs (called pleura mesothelioma/ lung mesothelioma), heart (called pericardium mesothelioma) and abdominal (called peritoneal mesothelioma. Mesothelioma, which originate in the serosal lining of the pleural cavity, account for less than 10% of all cancer-related deaths. Mesothelioma have a latency period ranging from 20 to 45 years from exposure to tumor discovery, usually occur in people older than age 50, and are invariably fatal
Mesothelioma Causes

Treatment of Mesothelioma
Surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and a combination of treatments are usually tried, but they seldom control the disease in most patients.
